I used a very cool interactive map from the New York Times to get some estimates (pretty accurate too) of levels of poverty, education, racial segregation, and more in the city of Chicago (primarily the Southside). We can see a large percentage of African Americans, with a significant portion of Latino Americans. In the second picture, we’re looking at household income distribution of the same area.
